Having a lighter shirt helps your golf game because you aren't sweating as much while you're out in the heat, and you don't feel restricted, which makes it easier to get a full range of motion when teeing off. If you are wearing a tight, heavy cotton shirt the chances are that you aren't playing your best round of golf because you feel constricted. With a light shirt, you avoid dehydration and are able to move freely, thus leading to a lower score after a round of eighteen holes. That's not to say that if you buy one of these shirts that you will shoot a lower score, but comfort is an important factor during the game of golf.
